Last year, Unit 871 was assigned by the Defense Ministry to host the course. All instructors conducting the course come from military and civilian prestigious education institutes, while the trainees graduated from military academies and schools in the whole military with good records in 2018.

During the course, the trainees learnt essential English skills so that they would better perform their next assignments, contributing to the cause of building a revolutionary, regular, elite and gradually modern army.

According to Colonel Nguyen The Trung, Head of Unit 871, the course was conducted successfully as planned. At the final exam, 100% of the trainees met the set requirements while many got IELTS certificate scores from 6.5.
