Dozens of border localities and stations twinned with their neighborhoods as parts of the MR1’s master plan for building a border of peace, friendship and stability. In addition, the region also fulfilled their enlistment drives, increasingly improved training quality, and conducted gratitude activities to take care of national contributors and policy beneficiaries.

General Vinh also noted that the MR1 Command should enhance military cooperation and people-to-people exchanges with their neighborhoods along the borderline, contributing to maintaining peace and stability for economic development.

Previously, the Deputy-Defense Minister and his delegation inspected Ta Lung International Border Gate, worked with the leadership of Phuc Hoa district and Cao Bang province in preparation for the upcoming 5th Vietnam-China Border Defense Friendship Exchange, which is scheduled for May this year.
