The request was made by Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of National Defense, during the meeting with Song Thu Corporation under the General Department of Defense Industry, on July 27.

He also asked the military business to comprehend instructions and resolutions on military and defense missions of the Party, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense, and the General Department of Defense Industry and prepare plans for the equitization.
Over the past time, promoting the corporation’s fine tradition, its staff and workers recorded remarkable achievements. In 2016, the corporation built and exported 50 ships to Europe, South America, and Russia and repaired many others. Its last year’s turnover reached VND 2,136 billion and the business has created stable job for more than 1,560 cadres, staff and workers.
The same day, General Truong inspected Factory A32 of Department of Techniques of the Air Defense-Air Force Service.
According to its reports, in the first six months of this year, Factory A32 effectively fulfilled all assigned missions. The unit well repaired aircrafts, vehicles and equipment to serve combat readiness and training missions of the Air Defense-Air Force Service. In addition, Party, political, staff and logistics work have been also implemented with remarkable results.
Concluding the inspection, General Truong acknowledged the unit’s achievements over the past time and asked its leadership to continue grasping instructions and resolutions on military and defense missions of the Party, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense, and the service while raising the qualification of its manpower to meet requirements of maintaining aircrafts for combat readiness and training missions.
