Senior-Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Cung meets Gia Dinh Regiment's troops

PANO - Senior-Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Cung, Deputy Defence Minister, paid a working visit to the Gia Dinh Regiment under HCM City High Command on the morning of September 7th.

Having directly checked the unit’s work of political education, logistics, techniques, scenery and environment, General Nguyen Thanh Cung was briefed on the unit's achievements obtained in the first 9 months of this year.

With the great efforts of cadres and troops, the Regiment has well fulfilled their assigned tasks, organized practices as planned, conducted tactical exercises with live-fire and firmly held regularity, order and discipline, regulations. All cadres and troops have thoroughly grasped and studied the Party’s resolutions and been confident in completing their assigned tasks.

General Nguyen Thanh Cung hailed the unit’s spirit of solidarity and overcoming difficulties. He also asked the unit’s leaders to boost educational work to raise political awareness among troops. Furthermore, they should improve leadership competence and combat strength of the party organization, and the living standards of troops in contribution to building a strong and pure party committee, and a comprehensively strong unit to deserve the title, “Heroic Unit”.
