Defense leader inspects Ba Ria - Vung Tau armed forces

On the occasion, the delegation was briefed on the task performance of the provincial Military Command and the Naval Region 2 Command over the past time.

The delegation also discussed some contents related to defense and security task, as well as the building of the militia force, national defense and security education in the region, among others.

Addressing the inspection, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh underscored that Military Region 7 and the provincial Military Command have strictly grasped and raised troops’ awareness of documents and instructions of the higher levels and implemented all assigned tasks as scheduled. They have also closely worked with the local authorities so as to boost socio-economic development in line with defense and security task, promote national defense and security education, strictly ensure combat readiness, and well conduct external defense relations and mobilization work.

The general also noted that in the coming time, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau provincial Military Command should continue to strictly implement all directives and resolutions on defense and security, raise combat readiness quality, and ensure social order and safety, especially on the occasion of the upcoming National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) holidays.

In addition, the unit was also requested to promote Party and political work and take care of troops’ life, ensure policy for troops and their rear, to name but a few.
