Brigade 96’s combat readiness inspected
PANO - A mission from the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, led by its Deputy Chief Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Phuong Nam, checked combat readiness regulation, military discipline observance, preparations for receiving recruits, and the first training season at Brigade 96 under the Artillery Corps.
At the meeting on February 5, Senior Colonel Doan Ky Moc, the brigade’s commander emphasized that the unit strictly observed military discipline and combat readiness regulations, completed its training plans as scheduled, and ensured sufficient equipment, weapons and forces for training.
In addition, the brigade organized refresher courses to improve its cadres’ professional expertise while promptly preparing accommodation and materials for recruits as well as the first training season in an effective manner.
In his speech, General Nam acknowledged and highly valued the unit’s task performance, highlighting its close watch on local situational developments and regular patrols.
General Nam also spoke highly of the unit’s regularity building, close cooperation with the local authorities, and implementation of higher levels’ instructions to complete its assignments.
He asked the unit to continue embracing higher levels’ directives on combat readiness, practice combat readiness scenarios, promote fire prevention and fighting, further manage troops’ thoughts, make good preparations for the new training season, pay due attention to novel coronavirus prevention, and build a comprehensively strong unit.
