PANO – The Medical Unit of the Ha Tinh Border Command, in collaboration with the Ha Tinh Provincial Health Department and Border Unit 575 in Giang hamlet, recently organized a trip to provide free medical care to villages in the locality.
The beneficiaries, who were mainly ethnic minority people living along the border between Vietnam and Laos, were given free health check-ups, medicine and medical treatment.
Over 2 days, military doctors and nurses provided free medical services for 357 people in 2 villages in Huong Khe District.
They also provided an amount of medicine worth VND 10 million, treated a series of common illnesses and gave preventative medicine consultancy to local people.
