Binh Phuoc handles post-war bomb and ordnance leftovers
PANO - The Binh Phuoc provincial Military Command on May 22 worked with National Shooting Range Region 3 to defuse four bombs, six artillery cannons, 46 sub-munitions, and four grenades left over from wars in Loc Ninh and Bu Dang districts.

Major Vo Trung Son, head of the Engineer Department under the provincial Military Command, warned that these bombs are still active, locals must not cut the unexploded ordnance for metal.
During wars, thousands of bombs, landmines, and explosives were dropped in the province. Over the past years, the province has made all-out efforts to defuse bombs and mines. As a result, five huge bombs and thousands of unexploded landmines have been successfully defused.
