Joined by 38 painters and key artists of the military, the camp is part of a series of activities on culture, literature and arts in the whole army in the 2016-2020 period. The series aims at promoting art works on the theme “Revolutionary armed forces and wars” in the Doi Moi (reform) period.
The camp includes refresher courses for participants, field trips to army units and historical relics in Military Region 2, and exhibitions of works.
Co-held by the General Department of Politics, the Command of Military Region 2, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Vietnam Association of Fine Arts, the camp will run until August 29.
