Administrative reforms in the military boosted
PANO - The Ministry of National Defense opened a conference on Jan. 9 to review its administrative reform in 2017 under the chair of Senior Lieutenant General Le Chiem, Deputy-Defense Minister, Head of the Defense Ministry’s Steering Committee on Administrative Reform.
Accordingly, the Ministry of National Defense issued hundreds of legal documents to complete the legal regulations on military-defense affairs and simplify administrative procedures. Notably, the Committee actively applied information technology into the administrative work and accelerated the building of e-government structures and mechanisms.
In 2018, the Defense Ministry has planned to continue collecting people’s opinions and assess the outcomes of the administrative reforms via people's satisfaction with the administrative system while accelerating the work in military businesses and hospitals, contributing to improving the production efficiency and the quality of medical treatment within the military.
