PANO – The Hai Son Shipbuilding Company, under the Song Thu conjugate corporation (the General Department of Defence Industry) shipped out the 80-ton landing ship, ST-2300, on September 10th in Da Nang City.

The ST-2300, 27.5m in length, 6.5m in width and 2.8m in height, can sail at maximum speed of 12 nautical miles per hour and operate continuously over 60 hours with multiple functions, such as landing troops, weapons and equipment, as well as search and rescue.

The launching of such a ship shows the improvement in skills of staff, engineers and workers of the company.
