PANO - Military Zone 9 on September 27th held a conference to review results of the 10 years of finding and bringing remains of martyrs of Vietnamese volunteers and military experts, found in Cambodia, back to Vietnam. 

The event was attended by Major-General Dao Duy Minh, Deputy-Director of the General Department of Politics.

Over the past ten years (from 2001 to 2011), staff and soldiers of four martyrs remains searching teams of Military Zone 9 have found and brought back to the homeland 5,422 sets of remains of martyrs.

Besides, these teams have also given free health check-ups and medicines to 27,500 people, presented 15 tons of rice, 200 instant noodle boxes, repaired 27 houses for needy people in Cambodia, contributing to friendly relationship of the two countries.

At the conference, Major-General Dao Duy Minh praised all of the achievements of the Military Zone 9 and asked the zone to keep up the good work following the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies.
