In the solemn atmosphere, the 10 Military Oaths of Honor were recited, serving as both a reminder and a pledge for every officer and staff member to uphold honor, discipline and responsibility before the Party, State, military, people and international community, and to successfully fulfill their peacekeeping mission.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lt. Col. Tran Duc Tai, Director of L2FH Rotation 7, said that standing beneath the national flag in a mission area far from home had made them understand more deeply that great honor always came with great responsibility.
On the occasion, the hospital director handed over a symbolic donation of VND 10 million to support the “500-day campaign to intensify the search, collection and identification of martyrs’ remains.” The donation reflected the sentiments, responsibility and gratitude of the soldiers serving in the U.N. peacekeeping mission toward generations of predecessors who sacrificed their lives for the Fatherland.

Throughout its deployment, L2FH Rotation 7 has, through professional expertise, discipline and compassion, helped affirm Viet Nam’s image as an active and responsible member of the international community.

At the ceremony, the hospital director called on the entire unit to maintain discipline, strictly observe duty regulations and remain vigilant during the final stage of its deployment. Each department, division and team must ensure professional readiness, make thorough preparations for the handover and continue upholding the image of Vietnamese peacekeepers as humane, capable and professional soldiers.
As part of the ceremony, authorized by the Force Commander of the U.N. Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan, the hospital’s leader handed over certificates of merit from the Force Commander to 12 officers and staff members for their outstanding achievements during the deployment.
Following the solemn ceremony, all officers and staff formed the number “2-9” and sent National Day greetings from South Sudan to the Fatherland.
