It also seeks to reinforce the ties between the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and the General Staff of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba, and to advance bilateral defense cooperation.
This visit holds special and practical significance as both nations are preparing to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (December 2, 1960 - 2025) and the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Year 2025.
