A foreign officer told reporters of the People’s Army Newspaper that he was mesmerized by the flavor of Vietnamese coffee from the first sip. It was even more wonderful for them to both have a cup of delicious coffee and chat and take some memorable photos with friendly and amiable friends from Vietnam.

After tasting the coffee, many foreign guests expressed their desire to buy a few boxes as gifts for their families and colleagues, and they all expressed regret when the Vietnamese officers explained that the coffee was not for sale, and that the quantity was limited. Many of them asked for another cup instead.

During the MILAN 2024, Ship 20 welcomed several delegations from the host country, including captain, vice captain, and officers and sailors from INS Airavat. In each meeting, Ship 20’s crew-members presented them with a small gift bag, which included a box of G7 instant coffee. Admiral R. Hari Kumar, Chief of the Indian Navy, also expressed his desire to try the Vietnamese coffee at the stall. However, due to his busy schedule, the official had to take a rain-check on it.
