At the talks, the two sides reviewed the results of their cooperation in maintaining security and order in the shared border area in 2025. Accordingly, both sides effectively implemented the contents of the minutes of the talks between the Vietnam Border Guards and the General Commissariat of the National Police of Cambodia, as well as the minutes of the talks between the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command and the Mondulkiri Provincial Public Security Department.
Border protection forces of both sides maintained regular meetings and exchanges of information related to border management and security and safety in the border area, while coordinating closely in combating and preventing various types of cross-border crimes. Posts of the Border Protection Police Battalion 303 (Mondulkiri province), and Vietnam's border posts proactively maintained communication channels, exchanged information, and conducted joint patrols to protect the national border marker system and boundary signs. The two sides also coordinated to facilitate border demarcation and marker planting in the section from marker No.41 to marker No.44, in accordance with plans approved by the governments of the two countries.

In addition, the two sides effectively coordinated to prevent activities inciting propaganda, undermining unity and friendship; combat illegal border crossings and illegal entry and exit; and raise legal awareness among residents in border areas on both sides.
For the coming period, the two sides agreed to continue strengthening close cooperation in border management and protection; exchanging information on security situations and activities of hostile forces; and coordinating to prevent acts inciting division, undermining unity, and causing instability along the border. The two forces will further enhance cooperation in combating crimes such as armed robbery, human trafficking, smuggling, economic crimes, trafficking in weapons and explosives, drug trafficking, wildlife poaching, and illegal exploitation of natural resources; strictly handle illegal border crossings; and coordinate in the arrest of wanted suspects fleeing across the border.
Both sides also agreed to continue organizing joint patrols to protect the national border marker system and create favorable conditions for border demarcation and marker planting in accordance with agreements reached by the governments of the two countries.

The border protection forces of the two provinces reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining cooperation in the spirit of solidarity, friendship, and cooperation, based on respect for independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and each other’s legitimate interests, contributing to the building of a border of peace, friendship, cooperation, and comprehensive development.
