Vietnam, Israel share experiences on field hospital operations
PANO – The leadership of Military Hospital 175 under the Ministry of National Defense worked with Yaakov Taibel, Israeli Defense Attaché in charge of medical activities and field hospitals, in Ho Chi Minh City on November 7.

Taibel highly appreciated the hospital’s performances, especially its operations in coastal areas and islands as well as its preparations for the deployment of the level-two field hospital to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) next year.
He shared experiences of the Israeli military medical force in humanitarian relief, first aid response to injuries and general medical assistance.
Additionally, the two sides discussed and agreed upon their coming cooperation activities, which focus on helping the Vietnamese level-two field hospital’s staff, who are under training at Military Hospital 175, properly gear up for the deployment to the UNMISS.
