PANO - The Vietnam-Belarus inter-governmental joint committee on military technology cooperation held talks to review cooperation results over the past time and set plans for the coming years on July 9th in Hanoi.
Vietnamese Deputy Defence Minister Senior Lieutenant General Truong Quang Khanh and Belarusian Deputy Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee Morozo Oleg Vladimirovich co-chaired the talks.

At the event, the host highlighted the cooperation achievements between the two sides, especially in air defence and air force, information and communications and scientific application. He stressed that both sides should strengthen personnel training, delegation exchanges and sharing technological and scientific applications, contributing to improving the efficiency of weapons and equipment of the two countries.
For his part, the guest said that his country would want to expand its cooperation with Vietnam in telecommunications and modernization of the military technical information system.
After the talks, the two subcommittees signed a military technical cooperation agreement.
