At the meeting, representatives of relevant agencies and units reported on progress of assigned tasks and the results of dissemination activities for the Expo. According to the report, dissemination efforts have continued to be intensified.

The Communications Subcommittee has coordinated with the Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of National Defense to engage with defense attachés accredited to Vietnam, providing information about the expo and actively encouraging partners to participate in and exhibit at the event. The expo’s official website, https://vietnamdefence.vdi.org.vn, is regularly updated with information. Through the website, the Secretariat of the event has also received proposals and feedback from numerous partners.
In addition, the Digital Communications Team has launched a “Multi-Platform Outreach” campaign to enhance dissemination across social media platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. The Department of Political Education and Information under the General Department of Political Affairs has directed military press agencies to coordinate with central and local ones in increasing news coverage and articles about the expo, while also producing promotional trailers for the event.
Concluding the meeting, Gen. Tan acknowledged, commended, and highly appreciated the pro-active dissemination efforts of agencies and units.
He noted that this year’s opening ceremony program will feature a wide range of activities with the participation of approximately 2,500 performers, requiring special attention to organizational and support arrangements. Performance items must be aligned with the expo’s theme and maintain coherence throughout the program.
Regarding the exhibition at the Vietnamese cultural space during the expo, Gen. Tan emphasized the need to highlight the cultural identity of Vietnam in association with that of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new era, while demonstrating Vietnam’s pro-active international integration, and strategic autonomy in defense industry development.
