Ten-year implementation of “Friendship Post - Company” program reviewed

During the exchange, the two sides reviewed and evaluated the outcomes of the “Friendship Post - Company” twinning program which has been implemented since 2013; agreed on orientation for future coordination; organized an artistic program; voted and honored Vietnam-China Friendship Ambassadors; held sports competitions.

Over the past time, the relationship between the Dien Bien provincial Border Guard Command and Pu Er Border Management Detachment has been strengthened through twinning activities and exchanges of visits on special occasions, including the lunar New Year Festival and their important political events. The two sides have well coordinated in managing and protecting border areas and border gates, combating crime, and ensuring political security and order in border areas, contributing to building a borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development.

On behalf of the delegation of the Dien Bien provincial Border Guard Command, the unit’s Commanding Officer Senior Colonel Phan Van Hoa emphasized that the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and China have been treasured, preserved, and developed by generations of leaders of the two parties and states and the two peoples.

In the coming time, the two sides agreed to continue to cooperate in managing border areas, combating crime, and disseminating the agreement on the regulations on land border management between Vietnam and China and other contents reached by the two countries to local people, so as to build a borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development.

At the event, heads of the two delegations presented medals to badminton players and handed over the “Vietnam-China Friendship Ambassador” title to individuals with outstanding achievements in building and strengthening the traditional friendship between Vietnam and China and boosting cooperation between law enforcement forces of the two sides.
