Tay Ninh section of border patrol route inaugurated

The nearly 3.1-kilometer road section was completed with good quality and safety conditions after more than five months of construction since July 2024.

During the section building, the involved units built six “Troops-People Sentiment” houses to present to the district’s disadvantaged households.

According to Commanding General of the Military Region 7 Lt. Gen. Nguyen Truong Thang, the section was completed at the time that the whole country was striving to gain achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025). This is an important section of the border patrol route in Tay Ninh province in accordance with the Party Central Committee’s Resolution No.24 on socio-economic development and defense and security guarantee in the Southeastern region by 2030, with a vision to 2045.

Leaders of the Military Region 7 Command and Tay Ninh provinces cut the ribbon to inaugurate the road section.

In the area of Military Region 7, there are 627 kilometers of shared border with Cambodia. So far, 490 kilometers of the land border patrol route have been completed, and the section crossing Tay Ninh, Long An, and Binh Phuoc provinces was assigned to the Military Region 7 Command to build.

Since their completion, border patrol route projects have promoted great efficiency in defense, security, and socio-economic development. It is a road of peace and friendship between Vietnam and its neighbor and a road of gratitude to ethnic people in former resistance war bases.
