On behalf of the Tay Ninh provincial Border Guard Command, its Commanding Officer, Senior Colonel Le Hong Vuong, presented VND 1.34 billion to representatives of the three provinces’ military sub-regions, gendarmerie and public security forces, and a Cambodian Border Police Battalion.

Addressing the event, Senior Colonel Vuong hailed the cooperation between the two border protection forces over the past time, especially in managing illegal border crossings and fighting crime.

He hoped that in the coming time, the two sides would further coordinate to ensure security in the shared borderline, building a borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.

For their part, the Cambodian side thanked the Tay Ninh provincial Border Guard Command for its meaningful and practical support, especially in the current context.

* On the same day, at Nam Giang - Dakta Ok international border gates, the Quang Nam provincial Border Guard Command handed over gifts to the Lao border protection forces of Sekong province.

The unit’s Second-in-Command Senior Colonel Nguyen Quang Nam presented two tons of rice, and other necessities, such as instant noodles, salt, fish sauce, cooking oil, totaling VND 130 million, to the Lao unit.

The activity showed the care of the Quang Nam provincial Border Guard Command for the Sekong provincial border protection forces.
