Lam Dong Provincial Military Command extends New Year greetings to Cambodian partners
PANO - From April 3 to 7, a delegation from the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command, led by its chief Major General Dinh Hong Tieng, visited and extended New Year greetings to military sub-regions in the Cambodian provinces of Siem Reap, Kampong Chhnang, and Mondulkiri on the occasion of Chol Chnam Thmay Festival.

At each destination, on behalf of the armed forces of Lam Dong province, Gen. Tieng conveyed his best New Year greetings to the officers and soldiers of the Cambodian units. He also reaffirmed that the traditional, loyal, and steadfast friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Cambodia in general, and between Lam Dong province and its partner localities in particular, would continue to be strengthened and developed sustainably.
The Vietnamese general informed the hosts of several highlights of Lam Dong province’s socio-economic development and recent achievements in military and defense task performance.

He hoped that in the coming time the partner units would continue to further coordination in information exchange, maintenance of political security and social order in border areas, contributing to fostering friendship and solidarity between the two countries.
Expressing their appreciation, the hosts sincerely thanked the guest for their support, care, and sentiments while confirming to continue their close and effective coordination in carrying out tasks in the time ahead.

Gifts presented to Team K71 |
As part of the working visit, the Lam Dong delegation visited and presented gifts to Team K71 under the Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command, which is searching for and repatriating remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who sacrificed their lives during the war in Cambodia. They also visited the Memorial House of Front 479, and offered flowers and incense in tribute to fallen heroes at the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Monument in Kampong Chhnang province.
