The participation of the Vietnamese high-ranking military delegation in ADMM-19, and 12th ADMM-Plus, and related events affirms Vietnam’s continued role as a pro-active, active, and responsible member of ASEAN in general, and in the ASEAN defense-military cooperation channel in particular.

It also contributes to promoting substantive defense cooperation both within ASEAN and between ASEAN and its partners, while expressing Vietnam’s support for Malaysia in its ASEAN Chairmanship Year 2025.
