The fifth event will be jointly organized by the Vietnam National University, Hanoi; the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences; the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. It gathers around 150 scholars, policy makers, and representatives from embassies and non-governmental organizations in Vietnam.

Accordingly, reports at the seminar will focus on diplomacy, international cooperation and integration, manpower development, knowledge and technology transfer, and economy and livelihood.

The participants are expected to contribute solutions to help Vietnam solve contemporary issues emerging in the context of global change.

Addressing the press meeting, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi Nguyen Huu Duc said that the seminar aims to connect researchers and experts in Vietnam studies from various fields of study and different countries as well as to seek measures to set up and develop the Documentation Center on Vietnam.

Duc added that the outcomes of the seminar would contribute to the Government’s policy planning for the national development.
