Iraq wants to increase cooperation with Vietnam
PANO – Iraqi Deputy Foreign Minister, Labeed Abbawi, highly appreciated Vietnam’s socio-economic developments over the last 20 years and expressed that Iraq wants to promote cooperation with Vietnam in many fields.

PANO – Iraqi Deputy Foreign Minister, Labeed Abbawi, highly appreciated Vietnam’s socio-economic developments over the last 20 years and expressed that Iraq wants to promote cooperation with Vietnam in many fields.
The deputy made the statement in Hanoi in a meeting with Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Doan Xuan Hung during his Vietnam visit from April 19th to 24th.
Mr. Abbawi also said that he admired the liberation war of the Vietnamese people.
At the meeting, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two countries’ foreign ministries.
During his visit, Mr. Abbawi called on Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem, who is also Vietnamese Foreign Minister.
