Ambassador Long met with Prime Minister Terrance Drew, during which the two sides discussed measures to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the coming time, particularly in the field of agriculture.

Vietnam is ready to share its experience and encourages enterprises from both countries to cooperate in investment, production, and export of agricultural products, including rice, one of Vietnam’s key exports, Long said.

In his working session with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Vietnamese diplomat and Permanent Secretary Kaye Bass agreed to promote practical cooperation mechanisms, such as submitting to the leaders of both countries proposals to expand cooperation and technical exchanges in agriculture, tourism, renewable energy, and geothermal development; as well as enhancing people-to-people exchanges and scholarship programs for students.

On this occasion, Long expressed his sincere thanks to the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis for its valuable support for Vietnam’s successful election to the U.N. Human Rights Council for the 2026-2028 term, describing it as a vivid demonstration of the solidarity and political trust between the two nations.
