In his remarks, Ambassador Choi Young Sam expressed his delight at the development of the RoK - Vietnam relationship over the past years, especially since the two countries upgraded ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2022. He noted that the potential for cooperation remains extensive.

The RoK diplomat voiced his belief that with the consensus of the two countries’ senior leaders, Vietnam and the RoK will continue to cooperate and make new strides in bilateral relations.

Addressing the event, Vietnamese Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang extended congratulations to the Government and people of the RoK on their National Day. He affirmed that Vietnam consistently treasures its relations with the RoK and is willing to work closely with the country to advance the comprehensive strategic partnership in a substantive, effective, and long-term manner, in line with the aspirations of the peoples of both countries, contributing to regional and global peace, stability, cooperation, and development.
