At the banquet, DPRK Ambassador to Vietnam Ri Sung Guk reviewed the 80-year journey of construction and development of the Workers’ Party of Korea. Emphasizing the traditional friendship between the two Parties and two countries, the diplomat affirmed that the DPRK will continue working with Vietnam to lift bilateral relations to new heights.

In his address, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu extended warm congratulations on the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea. He highlighted that this year, Vietnam and the DPRK are actively carrying out activities in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between the two countries. He reaffirmed that the Party, State, Government, and people of Vietnam always attach importance to and wish to strengthen the traditional friendship with the DPRK, in line with the interests of both peoples, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.
