At the reception

At the meeting with the Cambodian guests, General Huan briefed them on the establishment, development, and achievements of the newspaper over the past 69 years. Accordingly, PAN released the first issue on October 20th 1950 and was named by President Ho Chi Minh. The newspaper published 33 issues during the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, reflecting the struggle for independence of the Vietnamese troops and people and the activities of the three Indochina countries.

Over the past time, PAN has cooperated with press agencies of Cambodia to popularize the relationship between the two countries, with a focus on external affairs and defense relations between Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.

At the event, the two sides exchanged experience in journalism, especially information dissemination in the era of information technology.
