PANO - Brand Finance (BF) has just named Vietinbank among the world's top 500 most valuable banking brands.

Accordingly, the bank, with a brand value of US$ 197 million and an A brand rating, ranked 437th in the global top 500.

This is the third time the Vietnamese bank was ranked in the world's most valuable banking brands since its first time in 2012 with a brand value of US$ 159 million.

As evaluated by BF, the bank, together with Vietcombank, are the two Vietnamese banking brands in the list.

US Wells Fargo remains the world’s most valuable banking brand with its brand value of over US$ 34 billion. Meanwhile, the MUFG's Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ, Japan’s most valuable brand and Vietinbank's strategic partner, was classified as the 11th valuable banking brand in the global top 500, with a brand value of over US$ 14.5 billion.
