Plastic exports heading toward set target of US$ 1bn
Monthly plastic product exports have continuously reached over US$ 89 million in the past few months, and this could insure the fulfillment of the set target of US$ 1 billion for 2010 for the plastics sector.

According to the Information Center of the Trade and Industry Ministry, the turnover of plastic exports in July stood at US$ 86.4 million, a slight increase against the last month.
Aggregate value of plastic products exports since the beginning of the year has reached US$ 554.1 million and Vietnamese plastic products are exported to nearly 70 foreign markets across the world.
Japan is Vietnam’s largest plastic export market, which often consumes more than 25 per cent of the total export value of Vietnamese plastic products. Other major markets include the USA, Germany and Cambodia.
