Petrol prices cut for 8th time this year
The retail prices of petrol were revised downwards on April 28 for the eighth time this year as a result of the latest review of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
Starting from 3p.m. on April 28, the price of E5 RON92 biofuel has been slashed by 401 VND to 10,942 VND per litre and that of RON95-III by 308 VND to 11,631 VND per litre.
The prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene are now 9,941 VND per liter and 7,965 VND per liter, down 882 VND and 674 VND per liter, respectively.
Mazut 180CST 3.5S is selling for 8,670 VND per kg, down 1,048 VND per kg.
The two ministries review fuel prices every 15 days to adjust domestic prices in accordance with fluctuations in the global market.
Prices of E5 RON92 and RON95-III have fallen a cumulative 9,000 VND per liter each since the beginning of the year.
