Vietnam’s Road Administration Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on Dec.8 signed a MoU on designing a master plan for establishing rest stations along highways in
Vietnam.
These stations are rest places for travelers and also where they can have access to public information and typical products of the localities. These stations help promote traffic safety and regional development.
The feasibility study will be carried out in 19 months during this period JICA will help build 3 rest stations in Ninh Binh, Bac Giang and Hoa Binh provinces.
