For Microsoft Vietnam, utilizing the data center platform and thorough understanding the domestic market of Viettel Cloud will enable Azure Cloud to address problems faced by customers.

Meanwhile, through Microsoft’s Azure Cloud ecosystem as well as such data and artificial intelligence services as Azure Machine Learning and Azure OpenAI, Viettel will have more opportunities to cooperate to develop solutions and explore business potentials in growing services, including Speech Technology, OpenAI, and Chat GPT, among others.

The two sides also planned to together develop digital solutions based on their own platform and capabilities. In particular, Viettel will make the most of Microsoft’s data technology and AI to build specific service packages for its partners operating in sectors such as telecommunications, banking, security, and retail. By cooperating with Viettel, Microsoft’s products will be modified to be more easily applicable for Vietnamese users.

In addition, a language technology project, titled “Speech & Language,” will be jointly conducted by the two sides to serve the purpose of multilingual translation. Thanks to the project, Vietnamese customers can have access to internationally standardized technology that is suitable to the need of the Vietnamese users.

Within the framework of the signing ceremony, Microsoft’s representatives shared information about successful cloud cooperation models conducted between the company and telecoms service providers in the region and the world, such as Jio, AT&T, LG U+, Vodafone, and Singtel, thus determining detail cooperation potential of the two sides.
