During the visit, General Tien was briefed on the outcomes of the cooperation agreements between Viettel and the Department of Military School Management under the General Staff in enhancing education in foreign languages, IT , digitalization in military education and training, and in supporting the digitization of training processes and smart school building.
Realizing the importance of digitizing Vietnamese education, since 2014, Viettel has partnered with the Ministry of Education and Training to boost IT application in education.

Over the past time, the group has closely coordinated with the Department of Military School Management to carry out a variety of meaningful educational activities. It has sponsored the second Military English Olympiad and jointly organized training courses to improve military academies and school cadres’ professional expertise.
Viettel Group also participated in a scientific seminar themed “Digitalization in education and training and foreign language teaching in the military”, and co-hosted a workshop on the partnership between the group and the Department of Military School Management.
During these activities, the two sides shared experience in Viettel’s advanced teaching and learning model, digitization in education, doing scientific research, and technological applications. They also discussed further cooperation, contributing to increasing Viettel Group’s leading role in digitalization, and drawing more talent to work for the group.
Addressing the event, General Tien spoke highly of the achievements gained by Viettel Group and the military department in the partnership, which have made important contributions to speeding up the digitization process in military education and training.
General Tien emphasized that the two sides should be fully aware of the importance of digitization and work closely to make the partnership in this field more efficient to provide high quality personnel for the building of a revolutionary, standardized, elite, and modernized military.
