Vietnam – China int’l trade, tourism fair to open
The Vietnam – China international trade and tourism fair, themed “Cooperation expansion – Sustainable development,” will take place in Mong Cai city in the Northeastern province of Quang Ninh from December 1 – 7.
The annual fair is held alternately in Mong Cai and Dongxing city in the Chinese province of Guangxi under a cooperation agreement.
This year, the event will attract 400 stalls, including 300 domestic and 100 foreign displays.

Vice Chairwoman of Mong Cai City People’s Committee Nguyen Thu Huong said participating Chinese exhibitors are interested in importing agro-forestry-fisheries products from Vietnam.
Within the framework of the fair, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Quang Ninh People’s Committee will hold a connectivity conference to promote the export of agro-forestry-fisheries products to China.
Delegates from the two countries will provide information on respective import-export policies, and advise firms how to deal with difficulties to create opportunities for them to expand economic ties.
Music performances, a street culture and arts night, a tourism promotion forum, an exhibition on socio-economic achievements, and cultural and economic exchanges are also planned.
