Vo Duy Khuong, founder of the Da Nang Startup Council (DSC) and President of the Da Nang Entrepreneurship Supporters (DNES), said that with the participation of over 2,000 domestic and international startups, SURF 2018 is the biggest international startup event in Central Vietnam.
SURF is an annual event organized by the DNES under the direction of the DSC.
Themed “Link the waves,” SURF 2018 aimed to create connections for startup enterprises in terms of investment capital, human resource, business cooperation, and marketing. Moreover, the participants could learn from leading experts and have exchanges with others from Vietnam and other countries, including 60 startup projects and 70 booths, 30 well-known speakers and 300 leading programmers in the region.
SURF 2018 focused on startup issues of common concerns such as financial capital, human resources as capital, social capital, indigenous capital and industrial capital. Meanwhile, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and competitions focused on five important resources of finance, human resources, society, indigenous capital, and technology.
Additionally, SURF 2018 also included a gala dinner, a recruitment festival, and a tour to colleges to strengthen connections and optimize resources.
