Vietnamese military team to compete in 7th CISM Military World Games
PANO – Vietnamese military athletes and coaches, who will take part in the 7th Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) Military World Games, undertook missions at a meeting held by the Department of Military Training under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army on October 14 at the Military Sports and Physical Training Center.

Joining the competition in Wuhan, China, from October 18-28, 2019, the Vietnamese military sports delegation will compete in seven categories, including athletics, gymnastics, shooting, wrestling, boxing, tennis, and swimming.
Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Vu Van Sy, Head of the Department of Military Training, affirmed that the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism have always paid attention to military sports movements and supported athletes in having success in domestic and international games.
On the other hand, he urged the athletes to strictly observe the organizing panel’s regulations and military discipline, respectfully represent Vietnamese cultural, and strive for the best results during the competition.
