The tournament saw the participation of over 9,000 athletes, including nearly 1,800 foreign athletes from 60 countries and territories. Nguyen Tien Anh, an athlete from Hanoi, said, "The cool and favorable weather, beautiful and safe routes have helped athletes achieve good results."

The tournament concluded with the overall victory going to male athlete Kiptoo Edwin from Kenya, with a time of 2 hours 37 minutes 6 seconds. National team’s athlete Pham Thi Binh, former SEA Games gold medalist, won the women's category with a time of 3 hours 10 minutes 32 seconds. Second places went to Huynh Anh Khoi (2 hours 37 minutes 13 seconds) and Nguyen Dac Hung (2 hours 43 minutes 51 seconds).

In the women's category, second and third places went to Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuc (3 hours 17 minutes 0 second) and Nguyen Thi Ngot (3 hours 26 minutes 46 seconds).

In the half marathon distance of 21km, Malaysian athlete Manimaran Sanjay and Vietnamese athlete Thai Thi Kim Ngan clinched the first and second positions with the times of 1 hour 13 minutes 28 seconds and 1 hour 30 minutes 47 seconds, respectively.

In the 10km distance, the first prize for men went to German athlete Hirrle Simon, with a time of 36 minutes 10 seconds; the first prize for women went to Vietnamese athlete Nguyen Khanh Ly with a time of 41 minutes 15 seconds, the former champion of this category in last year's competition.

The first prizes in the 5km distance went to male athlete Hap Tien Canh (18 minutes 38 seconds) and female athlete Bui Thi Ngan (19 minutes 5 seconds).

Speaking at the award ceremony, Nguyen Trong Thao, Deputy Director of the Municipal Department of Culture and Sports, emphasized that over the past 11 years, the Da Nang International Marathon has been a major, highly anticipated event for running enthusiasts, both domestic and international.

The top three athletes in each distance category for both men and women received medals, along with prizes in cash and gifts from sponsors and partners. Additionally, the organizers also awarded flags and prizes to the first-place athletes in 5 different age groups. Fifteen male and fifteen female athletes with the best performances in all 4 distances were also honored for their efforts.

Hoang Son Tra, Chairman of the Son Tra District People's Committee, stated that the Da Nang International Marathon serves as a bridge to promote the city's tourism to international friends, as well as encourages locals and tourists to train to improve their health and actively participate in environmental protection activities.
