Saigon Newport Corporation organizes SNP Running Tournament 2023

The tournament attracted the participation of more than 1,000 athletes, competing in 5km and 10km events. Participants ran through such famous streets in Thu Thiem New Urban Area as Hoang The Thien, Nguyen Co Thach, and Bui Thien Ngo. 

In the 10km event, athletes Bui Van Nam and Lai Thi Xuan Huong won the men and women’s categories, respectively. In the remaining event, Nguyen Hoai Tam reached the finish line first in the men’s category, while Tran Thi Phuong Thao became winner of women’s category.

According to Deputy Director of Saigon Newport Corporation Senior Colonel Bui Van Quy, this was the first time that the unit had organized such a large-scale running event for mining and logistics sector. With the message, “Run as One,” the business expected that each person and each family would spread the spirit of solidarity and the love for sports to others.

He added that participating in the race, the athletes also helped spread social responsibility when together with Saigon Newport Corporation they contributed to the “Gratitude” Fund of Thu Duc city.
