This year’s event gathers nearly 50 players from nine national teams: Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Syria, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, and host country Vietnam.
Competing for promotion to Group II in 2026, teams were drawn into two groups with group A consist of Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Singapore while group B includes Indonesia, Syria, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Cambodia.

Thailand enters the competition as the top seed, followed by Indonesia (second), Saudi Arabia (third), and Syria (fourth). Vietnam is seeded sixth.
The draw was conducted transparently under the supervision of ITF referee Jemin You from the Republic of Korea. During the technical session, team officials finalized competition formats, schedules, and regulations.
Vietnam’s team, led by head coach Nguyen Phi Anh Vu, includes players Vu Ha Minh Duc, Nguyen Van Phuong, Pham La Hoang Anh, Dinh Viet Tuan Minh, and Nguyen Minh Phat. The team aims to secure promotion to Group II with the support of home fans.
Speaking at the event, VTF Vice President and Secretary-General Nguyen Hong Son affirmed Vietnam’s readiness to host the tournament, highlighting close coordination with the ITF, local authorities, and sponsors.
The event, he noted, not only offers a competitive platform but also strengthens regional cultural and sporting exchanges.
According to the ITF, the top three teams will advance to the Group II play-offs in 2026, while the bottom two will be relegated to Group IV. The remaining teams will remain in Group III next year.
