In his opening speech, VTF Vice President and General Secretary Nguyen Hong Son described the tournament as a pivotal moment for Vietnamese tennis to shine on the global stage, in line with the country’s broader goals of global integration outlined in the Politburo’s Resolution No. 59. Beyond high-level competition, he said, the event serves as a platform for cultural diplomacy, projecting Vietnam as a hospitable host.

The draw placed Vietnam, seeded sixth, in Group A alongside Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore. Group B comprises Indonesia, Syria, Jordan, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia.

All matches, free and open to the public, begin daily at 1 pm.
