SABECO supports Vietnamese sport talents

At the event

The support will be for athletes who are practicing and preparing for the Asian Games 2023 and Olympic 2024.

This was the next activity of the community program entitled “Vietnam wins golds” announced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and SABECO in May 2022 with the aim of bringing the best things to Vietnamese sports while competing internationally.

As planned, some 50 best athletes of Vietnam will benefit from this financial support. These athletes have at least one gold at SEA Games 31 and potential to achieve high results at Asian Games 2023 and Olympic 2024.

Apart from direct monthly support to Vietnamese sport talents in the national squads, the financial support will be used to buy more equipment for archery and badminton teams.

At the support handover ceremony

Addressing the support handover ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and tourism Hoang Dao Cuong emphasized that participants at the event included outstanding and typical faces of the Vietnamese sports.

The deputy minister noted that an open sky with dreams, ambitions, opportunities and challenges is in front of the athletes. Thus, he hoped that they would keep their will, high determination and spirit for the nation and continue to promote the attainments, constantly practice to get higher achievements, practically contributing to the sports cause of the country.
