The Ha Long Bay Heritage Marathon 2022 drew the participation of around 6,000 athletes, including nearly 1,200 foreigners from 42 countries and territories around the world.
Athletes competed in four categories of 5 kilometers, 12 kilometers, 21 kilometers and 42 kilometers.
Attentively, the Ha Long Bay Heritage Marathon was the first tournament in Ha Long to be listed on the international marathon map and voted by the prestigious magazine “Runner's World U.K.” as one of the world's 50 most beautiful running tracks.
This year, the special design of the racetrack offered a unique running course across beautiful landscapes in Quang Ninh province, especially Ha Long Bay.

Concluding the tournament, runner Dang Anh Quyet came first in the 42km race for men within 2 hours 45 minutes and 48 seconds, while runner Thai Thi Hong won the 42km race for women at 3 hours 21 minutes 13 seconds.
In the 21km event for males, athlete Vuong Xuan Hong Quang took first place with a time of 1 hour 20 minutes 4 seconds, while athlete Nguyen Thi Lua triumphed at the females’ 21km clocking 1 hour 38 minutes 39 seconds.
Runner Nguyen Minh Ngoc won the 10km race for men at 36 minutes 53 seconds and runner Bui Thi Nguyet came first in the 10km event for women at 46 minutes 26 seconds.
