Hundreds of athletes participate in Da Nang Newspaper cross-country race

Nearly 900 amateur and professional runners, employees from government agencies and companies, students in the city, and militia and troops from the city armed forces, took part in the event.

The participants competed in nine categories with the distances of 1,500m, 2,000m, 3,000m 4,000m, 5,000m and 7,000m respectively.

The race is expected to promote the sports and physical training movement among the local troops and people.
