Miss Japan and Miss Taiwan (China) encourage people to vote for Vietnam |
“We will visit Vietnam” was the common promise made by many people when they watched images and heard information about Ha Long Bay, Phong Nha area and Phanxipang Mountain introduced at the International Mayors Forum on Tourism on April 10, in Zhengzhou city, China.
This was a large tourist forum with the participation of 400 delegates, including 80 mayors from 50 nations around the world.
The introduction of the Vietnamese landscapes to delegates at the forum was Tuoi Tre newspaper’s initiative to help people across the world know more about these natural wonders.
It also aimed to widely promote the beauty spots and mobilise more people to vote for them as world natural wonders.
When coming across pictures of Ha Long Bay, Vice Chairman of Asia-Pacific Tourism Association (PATA) Michael Yates exclaimed with joy, “I have visited Ha Long bay. The sight was wonderful!”
