Over 80 works by Vietnamese and Russian painters are on display at the joint fine arts exhibition called “Handshake Again” at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum through to March 12.
The fifth year of the exhibition was launched by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Khanh Hoa, the Union of Russian Artists of the Primorye region and the Consulate of Russia in Ho Chi Minh City on March 4.

The exhibited works reflect the beauty of nature, and the landscapes and peoples of the two countries, in contemporary styles.
Alexey Popov, Consul General of Russia in the city, said Russia and Vietnam have a strategic relationship in all fields, including economy, politics and culture.
The exhibition, as part of a series of cultural events jointly held by the two countries, is contributing to strengthening bilateral ties as well as mutual understanding between the two nations’ people, he stressed.
