PANO – A music festival named “Vietnam – My Homeland” will be held over the 3 nights of November 22nd, 23rd and 24th in the National Convention Center, Hanoi.
The festival takes place on the occasion of the First Overseas Vietnamese Conference and the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese.
According to the organising board, the festival will draw the participation of international, domestic and overseas renowned Vietnamese artists.
Deputy Foreign Minister-cum-Chief of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Nguyen Thanh Son said that the festival will be a useful exchange between domestic and overseas Vietnamese artists in music terms and in part to foster overseas Vietnamese love of their fatherland.
In addition, the festival will aim to raise funds for poor children in Vietnam.
