Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2017 winners announced
PANO - The Vietnam Heritage Magazine, in association with Canon Vietnam Co. Ltd., organized an awarding ceremony for the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2017 on November 21 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The contest’s five topics included a
special theme “Market” and four traditional themes of nature, life, and
tangible and intangible cultural heritages. The organizing panel received
nearly 3,479 entries, including individual photos or albums.
Three top prizes went to "Ke
chuyen Ghe Ngo tram tuoi” (Telling the story of the one-hundred-year-old Ghe
Ngo - Khmer Boat) by Dinh Cong Tam, "Ve dich” (Heading to the finish line)
by Ngo Minh Phuong, and “Xom chai Dam Chuon” (Dam Chuon fishing village) by Ha
Van Dong. In addition, three second, three third and seven consolation prizes
were also presented to the winners at the awarding ceremony.
The Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards
2017 contest aims to call for the attention of local and overseas communities
to discover and share values of Vietnam's
natural and cultural heritages.
